Tabs on Ribbon

Word provides three types of tabs on the Ribbon. The first type is called a standard tab: Home, Insert, Review, View, and Add-Ins. The second type is called a contextual tab: Picture Tools, Drawing, or Table.            A contextual tab appears only when they are needed based on the type of task. The third type is called a program tab, for example Print Preview.            A program tab replaces the standard set of tabs when you switch to certain views or modes.
