Absolute Cell References

Make formula an absolute reference by typing a dollar sign ($) before each part of the reference. For example, $A$1 always refers to cell A1. You can add a $ before the column letter and the row number. Copy and paste formula.             The formula is the same, but it uses the new cells in its calculation.
