P.S. A few people have recently asked about Delphi on other platforms. Today, whilst browsing, I found this 'tool' that generates compilers and interpreters in Java, thereby allowing them to run on any platform. If anyone is interested in the link, it can be found at http://www.sable.mcgill.ca/sablecc/. Maybe some entrepreneurial person will create a limited (or even quite functional) inplementation of Delphi which can run on loads of platforms....
